Conversion to NTFS

I converted my HD to NTFS format using the Convert
utility. I did not specify the cluster size so I got the
default of 512. When I select all folders and click
properties I get Size=9.2G Size on Disk=7.6G. Shouldn't
these be the same? I know I don't want the opposite to
happen (lost space). Should I change the cluster size to
some ohter value thru a 3rd party utility?

Any advice/opinions would be appreciated.

TIA
Regards,
Wayne
