XP can not do this by itself. You need to use a third-party program, such
as Partition Magic. I have used PM under XP home edition for exactly this
purpose and it worked fine for me. However, each computer is a little
different when working at the fundamental level, so sure to have a backup of
the key information, just in case. Also, be sure to make that emergency
floppy boot/repair set that PM offers when it is first installed, just in
case.
