Moshin,

There is no way to just up and convert NTFS to FAT32 in Windows XP. If you
want to do this you will need to backup all important information, format
your hard drive, and reinstall Windows XP, selecting a FAT32 partition.

OTOH, if you currently have a FAT32 partition and wish to convert to NTFS,
check Microsoft's instructions at
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/p...convertfat.asp

XP can not do this by itself. You need to use a third-party program, such
as Partition Magic. I have used PM under XP home edition for exactly this
purpose and it worked fine for me. However, each computer is a little
different when working at the fundamental level, so sure to have a backup of
the key information, just in case. Also, be sure to make that emergency
floppy boot/repair set that PM offers when it is first installed, just in
case.

I am pretty sure you can convert an NTFS to FAT32 with PartitionMagic
from PowerQuest.

You can *not* do this in Windows XP. To do so requires the use of
a third-party program such as PartitionMagic.

In addition, You will have to Un-compress certain folders.
All the Service Pack uninstall modules and Dllcache can
trigger a PQMagic error "Compress or Sparse data has
been detected." But PQMagic can convert NTFS back
to FAT32.
