Is there a way to convert a Powerpoint presentation (2003) to play on most
DVD players?

If you want to burn a PowerPoint presentation to DVD, just follow below steps:

Tools:
1. PPT2DVD free trial
Direct download: http://support.wondershare.com/stat/...own&id=1&sid=4
More Info : http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com/ppt2dvd/overview.html

2. a dvd burner

Steps:
1. launch PPT2DVD and import your PowerPoint presentation in PPT2DVD
2. select the needed configurations for your presentation
3. burn the converted file to DVD with PPT2DVD or third party tool such as
Nero

NOTE: pay attention to these features because they affect the final playing
results:
---norm: NTSC PAL
---video aspect: 1:1 4:3 16:9

About the animation and music
This program supports the conversion of most transitions, text animations,
graphics animations in PowerPoint Music can also be well preserved in sync
with the slides.
For better conversion results, it is recommended to add the music after
conversion with the" add background music " fearure in the program.

Note that ,if your PowerPoint file is too complex, pls choose 'Record volume'
in the advance setting, and do not make other noise sound when converting, for
it would record all your music and sounds playing.

For converting my PPT to avi, mpeg, flv or just to burn to DVD I use
http://www.geovid.com/Presentation_to_Video_Converter/
this program. It's easy and simple program and I haven't any problem
with it.

Hope this helps!

Dear tohlz:
It is not joking. If a PowerPoint file is 2GB, to be responsible to our
customers, we suggest the "record volume" function.
If you developed a better product can solve the 2GB-5GB file conversion with
a C 1.7G CPU and without any audio and video problem. I'll be glad to suggest
it to my friends who need it.
If not, please be serious with your words.

Dear jrhx, please look carefully at the name of the poster before you start
pointing at the wrong direction. I'm not joking either.
