Conversion of access data that includes html tags

Hi!

I have been given a spreadsheet which I want to bring into access or another
database. I have imported the data into access and am now looking for my
next step in making the queries more readable.

My problem is that the original program that was used to create it stored
the data which included html tags (<p><h4>,etc.). Ultimately, I would like
to have a screen which reads these tags and displays the data as in the
previous program which utilized these tags. Can anyone give me an idea on
this? I would hate to have to do a bulk removal of these tags from my
database!

Example: (this is the data in my one field - one record)...

"<h4><a id=""SA_RNG_all"" name=""SA_RNG_all""></a><a id=""SA_RNG_all_""
name=""SA_RNG_all_""></a>SA RNG (all)</h4>
<ul>
<li>Hold the power button down until it flashes</li>
<li>Press the power button again. The diagnostic screen should appear</li>
<li>Go to page 4 of the diagnostics - It should be titled <a
class=""twikiLink"" href=""/bin/view/Client/DOCSIS"">DOCSIS</a> STATUS</li>
<li>Look for the <code>CPE IP</code> toward the bottom left. That's your IP
address.</li>
</ul>
<h4><a id=""PAN_RNG"" name=""PAN_RNG""></a>PAN RNG</h4>
<ul>
<li>Press Enter, left arrow, POWER</li>
<li>You should see the ""OSD Diagnostics"" menu</li>
<li>Go to IP & MAC Address Info</li>
<li>Your IP address is the <code>eSTB Host IP</code></li>
</ul>

"

Thanks!
