We have downloaded all our Outlook 2003 e-mails Outlook 2007. There are many
e-mail that we are now unable to open. Anyone know of a fix for this?

Fix for what? You have not described the symptoms or stated what you did in
enough detail that peolple might be able to figure out the problem.

We are unable to open many of the e-mails and our IT dept. says that it is
because of compatibility issues between Outlook 2003 and 2007. If that were
the case, why would any of them open? I'm wondering if anyone has come
accross this problem -- i.e., not being able to open e-mails from Outlook
2003 that were downloaded into Outlook 2007.

OK I'll bite
Who installed Outlook 2007?
What type of account, pop, imap, exchange?
There are no compatibility issues between 2003 and 2007, if you upgraded
2003 to 2007 its using the same/original data file
IT dept is obviously is inept
What *exactly* happens when you try to open an email?

There is no cpompatibility issue between Outlook 2003 and 2007 that would
prevent you from opening a message in either.
