how do i convert a PDF file in Word 2003?

Word 2003 has no ability to handle PDF files. The only thing it can do is to
display one page (or the first page of multi-page) pdfs as objects inserted
in Word - and even then only if Acrobat 7 Reader is installed. To do
anything else with PDFs requires third party software. Acrobat or one of its
cheaper clones to write PDF and Acrobat or OCR based software to reverse the
process. Note such reversal may not be accurate.
