ControlTip causing shutdown

For a while now I have been strugling with a strange
behaviour on some of my clients workstations. Every so
often MS Access Runtime 2002 will shut down without any
warning or error messgae. The only clue I have is that
to reproduce this the mouse only needs to slid from one
text box to the next. The text boxes have no code or
function on mouse movement, but they do have a ControlTip
text. When I remove this text the errors are reduced or
removed intirely, depending on the workstation.

Has any come accross this and found a solution except
removing the ControlTip text?
