I have several files that start automatically when I boot
up my machine. Where do I remove these from so they don't
boot up automatically?

Check the Startup folder in the start menu.
In the registry the following keys
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]

There are other ways to start an App, but most will be using one of these
three.
