Controller for Windows PC Games ?

Hello, I have COD 2, Lego Star Wars, Dirt 2, & Need for Speed Shift, I am looking for a controller that I can use for all these games. What is available out there'

I think that you can use the xbox controller for Windows will work on most of these games. It's good for Lego Star wars and Dirt 2 (and I assume will work with NFS:S).

It plugs in to your USB port and is very straight forward to set up. Here's some more details:

I had the wired one, and switched to the wireless one. both are great. and work 'out of the box'

Great for NFS:S etc, But for a fps you need KB and mouse.

Either the Xbox controller for Windows (wired is best) or the Logi Wireless rumble pad, both are great.

But for CoD2 and other first person shooters, you can't beat mouse/keyboard combo, as V_R said.

I am down to these two controllers (Xbox 360 controller for Windows wireless, or the Logitech Wireless rumble pad 2. Please advise the best unit, Pros & Cons
