Slave Drive won't boot, Windows XP is reporting a
controller error, disk detected @ BIOS

Alfred, if it's the System Drive then change it to Master on the Primary
IDE channel. Don't connect anything
as Slave temporarily. If it works try connecting a drive as Slave. You
may have to change them both to
Cable Select with the jumpers.
