Just lately IE's windows open in a odd shape not completely symmetric...is there a way to fix the
way that IE 6 opens its windows?

Go to http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/ietips.htm

Look for "Opening Internet Explorer Full Size"

This will show you how to retain the full size and also sorts out any
registration corruption if that is the cause for the problem.
