The mail icon is not visible in control panel for the Outlook 2007 mail icon
on Win7 Ultimate x64. How can I restore the icon or run the Mail utility
manually?

Are you looking in the 32 bit area?

Type mail in the start search field of the Start menu or, if you prefer to
open control panel, switch to the icon view.
