Do a find on: appwiz.cpl and see if you have two of them.
If so, go to the file NOT located here: C:\WINDOWS\system32\appwiz.cpl
and change .cpl to .bck. Now open and close the Control Panel several times
to see if the Add Remove icon is correct. If it is, you can delete the file
you changed the extension on.
If there are not two files with the same name, do a find on: *.cpl
and double click each one to see if one of them is producing the second A/R
icon. If found, delete it.
