The CONTROL+(key) functions are not working on my PC (Windows XP Professional
Version 2002 Service Pack 3) It did this 2 days ago and I fixed it by
disabling StickyKeys & FilterKeys. I tried that again today but, this time,
the SHIFT and ALT keys work fine in conjunction with other keys but neither
of the two CTRL buttons work in conjuntion with other keys. I checked and
StickyKeys was disabled, as were FilterKeys AND I even disabled all HotKeys
functions on the PC and disabled the program "hkcmd" from running at startup.
Restarted my PC so changes could take effect but all to no avail. What do I
do?

So control+C and Control+V does nothing there, right? Could you please tell
me more symptom about that when you use the control key?
My suggestions for now. Try a new keyboard. If still not working, you may
need to update mainboard driver and keyboard driver if any. If the problem
persists, you can try another interface, another USB port or even switching
between PS2, USB or wireless keyboard if possible. Flashing BIOS may help
also sometimes. If there is still problems, you may need to fix something on
your mainboard. If the new keyboard works, then you may fix the control keys
on your original keyboard or the circuit if you are interested.
