This evening, I was randomly prompted for a reboot by Windows. When I booted
back up, I instantly received an error message for WIndows Explorer, stating
that it has "encountered a problem and needs to shut down," etc. Whether I
send or do not send an error report, the error pops back up about five
seconds later.

I can still run programs, but they have to be run between error messages to
work. PLEASE HELP ME!!

The error signature looks like this:

AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00000000
