I'm trying to search a bunch of text files (about 15 megs of data in 3100
files) for a word in the file.
I enter the search browse to the folder, enter my context term and make sure
its on all files/folders, hidden, system sub folders, etc and it comes back
almost instantly with no results, I can open files and see that the word is
in there.
I've mounted the folder from a Different PC and it acts the same way. Its
like the search has been cached.
Index Service is not on. I've emptied the 2 default catalogs...
what gives?
