Running WinXp Home SP2. Outlook Express 6

Hi,
When right clicking a registry script or a backup of the registry or a
backup of a registry key, Merge is not one of the options shown. How can
I get this back?

Open regedt32 to:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\regfile\shell\open

You should have these entries:


[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\regfile\shell\open]
@="Mer&ge"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\regfile\shell\open\command]
@="regedit.exe \"%1\""

Click Start, Run. Type CONTROL FOLDERS and press {ENTER}
Select .REG | REG File from the list
Click the Restore button, and then click OK

The Merge option should now magically re-appear when you right-click on a .REG file.
