I am running Windows XP on a PC (AMD Athlon) with an ABIT AT7-MAX2
motherboard. I have a single optical drive, a DVD ROM read/write drive.
It is a brand new TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552B.

When I right click on the DVD icon in the My Computer folder, a dialog
box with the title "Error" appears with the message "No SCSI host
adapters found" and an OK button.

Note: I do not have any SCSI devices.

This message appears three times in a row before Windows finally
displays the context menu.

If I then choose "Properties", the "Error" dialog box comes up one last
time before showing me the properties dialog.

How can I fix this?

-Sam
