Somehow, I managed to change the default action when double clicking on a
folder icon from 'Open' to 'Search'. When I right click on a folder, the
default selection is 'Search...' and 'Open' is the second choice.

How can I fix this? Thanks!

The default action can be set in the File Types tab of Folder Options.
Locate and select Folder in the list presented, click the Advanced button,
select the desired function, and then click the Set Default button.
