Contents of windows not displayed until F5 is pressed

HI,

I reciently updated my server to be multi processor by
selecting the acpi multiprocessor in the device manager.

After this, my server won't display any windows contents
until I press the F5 key. This happens even for control
panel.

But this is most evident in the Internet explorer and
drive listings.

Can someone provide some direction.
