My indexing service is running without stopping and consuming a lot of CPU
time.

I have disabled this service for the time being, but when I look at the
event logs, I am seeing some problems.

Among the problems I am seeing is this one, which is present more than a few
times:

Content index corruption detected in component CI-RcovStorageObj1 in catalog
c:\system volume information\catalog.wci. Stack trace is 0x7DA32208
0x7DA3C65C
0x7DA335D3
0x7DA7F0E9
0x7DA7F218
0x7DA7637C
0x7DA76FA3
0x7DA77385
0x7DA314E8
0x7C80B683
..

When I ask for more information, I get the following.

stack trace.
