I just got FP 2003, and I am working on my personal webpage. What I would
like to do is take parts of content from my MSN page, and maybe "My Excite",
or" My Yahoo" page, and then add it to my personal web page! Is this even
possible at all? or is it not even something I should consider? If I were
able to do that, I would be able to have exactly the content I want on MY web
site, and that would be the best of all. I realize I can just link to the
pages but I want just the headline news, or specific content. Like say for
example movie listings, or weather.

Good point I was just considering HOW, not the copy protected content. I will
have to make sure that is not the issue before I add any content from another
page.

Thank you both for the input.

I would guess, with RSS feeds that copyright would not be an issue...since the intent of the feeds is to widely disperse info. Putting someone else's site within a frame on your own site however may be an issue.

To my personal site I have almost 0 traffic. I intended to take my favorite
parts of MY web pages to add to my personal web site, that way I can just
make it my "Home" page instead of yahoo, or MSN site. For example I like to
see the weather, it would be nice to have that and the tech news feed from
excite. This was strictly for personal use, and only shared w/ family. I am
also building a site for a friend that is a business site however this is not
content to be added to that page. I also know that unless password protected
(encrypted) and with permission, web sites are by nature public. That is not
the case here. I am to be honest not even sure where to start to look on site
for "RSS"?? feeds? I am still new to front page, and I want to make the most
of it.
