Why would a name that appears in a list of individual
contacts in the Folder on the Left side of the screen,
be av\bsent from the Address Book and the Contact List in the message field?
How can I correct this?

Imperceptible post. Left side of what screen in what version of Outlook?
The Outlook Address Book contains only the electronic addresses that reside
in the Contacts Folder you configured it to display. We have no idea what
you did. We have no idea how you configured your Outlook Address Book. If
you need help, post that information.
