Contacts disappeared into "none" category

Hi: I was working in categories view. I had 47 names in a category. 27 of
them just dissappeared. I think they all went into the "none" category. What
did I hit or click on or double click on to cause them to be uncategorized
all of a sudden? Thanks as always . There has to be a simple explanation.

If it's OL 07, you might have clicked on the toolbar the Categorize button
and then the first item of the menu, 'Delete all Categories' (or similar).

      31st Aug 2007
Version of outlook? if you selected the category name when grouped by
categories and hit alt plus the correct series of letters (a,i, enter in
2007), it could remove them.
