No, you're on the right track here. The only step you missed is setting the
opened pst-file as the default delivery location.
You can do this via;
Tools-> E-mail Accounts-> button Next-> dropdown list at the bottom
Restart Outlook and then see that your previous pst-file is set as the
default. You can then close the empty pst-file by right clicking on it and
choose Close.
However, since you made the conversion from Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003, it
would be better that you copied the content from the old pst-file to the new
(empty) one. This is because Outlook 2003 uses a new pst-file format
(UNICODE instead of ANSI). This offers international character support and
increases the file size limit to a virtual unlimited size instead of 2GB.
