has to do with aol,but i'm not on line.
then i try to ask microsoft, and the site sends be to a
newsgroup! no offence to you guys out there but it would
be nice to talk directly with the great and powerfull

An easier way to read newsgroup messages:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/p...oups/setup.asp
http://dts-l.org/index.html

Well, you can find a link for emailing to MS on the Help
and Support screen! However, it will be a one-way
conversation unless you pony up the bucks.

I wonder if it would be possible to find a "friend" on
this forum? The knowledge is definitely there. Then, you
could get Remote Assistance.

$19.95.They stopped phone support for 98 this summer. Not
like AOL where you can get help for free. I'm new and have
tried to contact MS for free, and it doesn't work, Bob

I would contact AOL like the link suggested. Just because you're not
online at the time, doesn't mean an AOL crapware isn't messing something
up.
