For right now for each contact group I put like a + or - in front of name in
group so I can find them in the group! Major bug in mail group program! 5
years and they still messed up big time!

do not understand how you are getting that wording.
if I click on New Group and enter a group name, there is a button called Add to Contact Group, when clicked bring up the contact list to select from.
Select Members was from OE. as I remember.

Mike, I'm running Vista Premium (should have said that, sorry). I don't get your wording; mine shows "Select Members." There is an item for adding new contacts who aren't already in the Contact list but that isn't what I'm trying to do; I'm trying to select contacts from my contact list to put into the new contact group. Perhaps you should tell us the steps to do what you are doing.

In Windows Vista Premium, I select Contacts, New Contact Group, then give
the new group a name. The next step, on the same dialogue box, is to Select
Members. But, when I click on that button, nothing happens and I cannot
select any members from my Contacts for that group. Frank

That's the problem. There is no Select Members button in that dialog. There
is a Add to Contact Group which one clicks to add contacts.

Therefore are you using Windows or perhaps Office? Do you speak (we don't
care about you but your Vista) English.

The PC is a new Gateway. I uninstalled the Office 2007 trials so I could
load the Office 2000 that I own. That is fine, except of course for
Outlook. And, yes, the Vista is in English if that is what you are asking.
But, what I am reporting is what I get when I am using Windows Contacts, as
integrated with Windows Mail.

I posted a picture of the dialog. You may need to use Windows Mail to view
the picture.
