Why does the contacts birthday show as the day before it actually is?

I'd love to know this as well. Everyone I have entered a birthday or
anniversary for is listed as the day before. It is irritating!

The newer Windows Live Mail shows them correctly.

Thank you, but I am still perplexed. Why should MS initiate a fix in a
program that I don't want or need instead of just sending a patch for the fix
in the program directly? I do not use hot mail, don't intend to. I like what
I have just fine. Not angry at you. Just angry that MS would rather promote
another "something" instead of fixing what would be a minor code patch.

You don't need Hotmail to use WLM. It will access your POP & IMAP accounts,
just like WM. And it doesn't seem to have the "bugs" that some users are
experiencing.
It seems that MS is putting more resources into WLM, since it has had a
couple of versions released since Vista came out.
I don't know if WM will ever be patched.
I'm currently using Thunderbird, WM & WLM without any problems.
