I use Outlook 2003. New Outlook Contact and Outlook Calendar files are being
created in C drive, sometimes a few times a day and other times nothing for a
few days. These two files appear at the same time, but neither contains any
files inside them. At couple of occasions the two files appeared on the
screen as I was watching it. I am suspecting something to do with e-mail and
attachment, both when I send and receive attachments, although they do not
always appear after sending/receiving attachments. I did adware/spyware
check and ran virus scan, etc., but nothing is stopping this from happening.
It's not affecting my computer use but is rather annoying, and is not
comforting at all to have there files being created without me doing
anything.

If you have any idea as to what may be causing this or have dealt with
something like this and know how to stop it from happening, please let me
know!!!!!

Outlook doesn't cause this but one of your add-ins. Are you by any change
using a Dell computer? In that case see if they have pre-installed
"OutlookAddin" by Cyberlink and uninstall it.

I do have a Dell laptop, and I did find "OutlookAddin" by Cyberlink. I just
unistalled it, so hopefully I won't have to deal with those folders anymore.
Thanks!
