Cont see files on a shared drive

This is the strangest thing. I have a user that has NTFS
group rights to view a particular folder. I have verified
permissions and made sure that she is good. However once
she accesses the folder the files, which have been
verified as being in existence on the server, are not
there. It is as though they are hidden. I have checked the
hidden attribute on the files to make sure that this was
not the problem and that test passed as well. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
