I've noticed the fan on laptop running full tilt continually when Outlook
2000 is running (OS is XP Home with SP-2 and all updates). If I stop
Outlook, it contiues to run as shown in task manager and fans still run full
on. But when I "end process" for Outlook fans slow down and memory use goes
from 80-100% down to 10-30% (normal). Can anyone tell me what is wrong or
why this is happening?
