Constantly Repairing Network Connections

For some reason, this past week, everytime one of our XP
Home boxes boots up, it doesn't find the server. I have
to repair the network connection, disable and re-enable
and then it's fine. We have had the server for 6 months
and this is the first time the network connections need
to be refreshed before the server can be found.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Hi Liz,
You'll probably have to narrow down the problem a bit before we'll know how
to fix it. I added a link to a knowledge base article that explains what
the repair option does. The next time this happens try doing each step
manually until you find the one that really fixes the problem. That way
we'll have a idea on where to start looking.

289256 - A Description of the Repair Option on a Local Area Network or
High-Speed Internet Connection (http://support.microsoft.com/?id=289256).

I believe I have a similar problem. Every time I
shutdown and then restart, my computer is disconnected
from the network/internet. If I use the Connection
wizard, it gets reconnected and it is fine... until I
have to reboot. Any help is appreciated... this is very
tedious everytime I reboot.
