constant USERENV 1030 errors

Hello all! I seek some help on an issue that I've been trying to
understand for a couple of days. I first noticed this on my computer's
event log, and then I noticed that every other computer on the network
has a lot of entries every hour and a half or so, the difference is
that some of them are still doing it now and some of them stopped last
week or before.

I enabled verbose logging on a couple of the computers that were still
logging the error and the only thing I was able to find was that the
failure occurs during the User Group Policy Processing while the
Computer GPO is ran just fine.

I've also read all the KB articles that include error 1030, but in
those cases 1058 is also included and I don't have that one in my logs.

I don't think this is directly causing any major problems, but the
network is so messed up (inherited, trying to clean up) that weird
situations pop up now and then and the userbase keeps growing
(currently at 200).

The userenv logs of the two computers are different, I think I don't
have enough information and I'm not sure that it is failing the same
way every time.

This user is under an OU (Company Support) that has Block Inheritance
enabled. I saw a post that recommended turning this off to get rid of
the error. I haven't done this yet because the error still shows up on
users that do not belong to this OU. Here's another example:

The first log excerpt has the user group policy failing with an error
997. There's nothing else that I can see wrong.

And this is what I don't understand. The processing fails with the
same error number (997 Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.) To me
this means that having the user under that OU doesn't make a
difference.

Well I hope someone out there can shed some light on this. I'll keep
looking and if I do find anything I'll gladly post my results.
