Hi,
I am having a problem with IE. Everytime I visit any site, I get
redirected to www.eebuy.co.uk. I have run ad-aware and have checked in
the registry, but can't find it. Any ideas?
Cheers,
Chris

Open the %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file with Notepad and
see if there are correlative entries. If this is the case, you may remove
them - however, if malware was allowed to hijack that file, your system
might be severly compromised.

You need to clean up your computer.

Go through these general malware removal steps systematically -
http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/...moving_Malware

Include scanning with either Sysclean or Multi_AV, plus Ewido. Do all
prep/finishing work and follow instructions to do all scans in Safe
Mode.

When all else fails, run HijackThis and post your log in one of the
specialty forums listed at the link above (not here, please).

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting
this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local version of BigStoreUSA).

Have a look here too:

I've suggested a workaround as has Alox. Give these a try for the
moment until some more light can be shed on it.

Cheers.
