it is possible to adjust the level of prompting using security policies.
search for the instructions. they have been posted several times.

If I turn off UAC, there will always be a warning on the taskbar. If I
disable that warning, then all security related warning including
virus update etc will be disabled. Seems like Microsoft want to force
people to use UAC, period.
The UAC is prompting for everything, and many will prompt for two
actions. I agreed that it's better to allow user to have so control
over what to prompt and what not.
