we have a dell that works as a workgroup server in a peer-to-peer network
that started putting in mulitple plus + signs in url's, docs, and emails. it
also will skip multiple lines in word docs and emails as though someone is
continually hitting the enter key for returns. we have run numerous different
virus and spyware checks. we have done repair installs and checked system
files of the o/s. we have run vendor diags on the machine. we have swapped
out the mouse and the keyboard, removed them and reinstalled drivers, and
still the same problem. we have noticed that when we connect remotely using
remote desktop connection, or something like go to my pc, we have no problems
what so ever. we can reload the machine, but we are concerned that after all
that work, it will still be an issue. Anyone ever seen something like this?
Please advise.

sounds like a hardware
issue, though it seems
that your checks so far
prove otherwise.

maybe another
test might be of help.

click start>run>osk

osk is the onscreen keyboard
and with it you might see
if bypassing the attached
keyboard also bypasses that
persistent key issue.
