my laptop recently began to scroll to bottom of every window I have open as
if I were holding down the left click at bottom of scroll bar. When I try
and raise to top it races bar down again. Anyone else ever experience?
Thank you

Restart explorer, or reboot.

Go to the laptop mftr.'s website and download/install the latest drivers for
your touchpad. Make sure you get them for your specific model machine.

If that doesn't fix the issue, see if the problem occurs in Safe Mode. To
get into Safe Mode, repeatedly tap the F8 key as the computer is starting
up. If the problem doesn't occur in Safe Mode, I'd consider that perhaps
some other program you've installed that is running in Regular Mode is
interfering. You can do clean-boot troubleshooting to try and find the
culprit.

If the issue occurs in Safe Mode, it is probably a hardware fault and you
should contact the laptop mftr.'s tech support for repair/replacement.

Once you manage to "set" that window scrolling, you can't actually
"catch it to click on"
