Norton Internet Security (and any version of Norton Anti-virus
(included inSystem Works, 360 and Internet Security) has settings in
Internet Worm module which blocks the "NetBIOS" function. This is to
say that you can not access any PC by the unit "name" but if you were
to access the PC by its IP address, it works. You need to configure
the Internet Worm access rules so as to specify the IP address range
of your network, is permitted to go thorough the system.
