My windows is doing an awful lots of consistancy checks.
When I say a lot, I mean at nearly every boot up. Its now
rare when it does not do a check.
I have ran Windows checks (consitancy check will all
options selected) and Norton Disk utility. From these
tests I can determine that there is nothing wrong with my
HDD> However despite this XP insists on chcking the HDD
for some odd reason. I know that there is nothing supose
to go on cause I've checked the sechdule for windows.
I only really complain because do you have any idea how
long it takes to do this check when it decides to check
every cluster on a 60Gb HDD?? My computer went from top of
the range to bottom of the range during one consistancy
check.
