Hi!

Does anyone know where the setting "When needed, automatically connect to
the Internet using these settings:" is saved in the registry?

Thanks
Linus

Hi Linus,

It is better to save the settings in config files instead Registry

Anyway you can use either Windows CE Remote Registry Editor comes with
EVT or Pocket PC Regedit http://www.phm.lu/Products/PocketPC/RegEdit/

Everytime back-up registry is recommended if you made settings and
changes
to the registry.

Instead of this you can also go with config files. Check this article.
http://www.knowdotnet.com/articles/cfcsetting.html

Hope this helps,
Regards,
Arun.

See the key
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ConnMgr\Providers\{EF097F4C-DC4B-4c98-8FF6-AEF805DC0E8E}]

There must be a key like "HTTP-{Your GUID}". Just remove it and create
the new key with "HTTP-{GUID}" of your desired connection. The settings
GUID could be found in:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ConnMgr\Destinations\[Name]\DestId
