The connection to the server is unavailable

When sending emails i get the message "Not Responding - The connection to the
server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this
action" i have contacted msn and outlook no help. What can i do it keeps
kicking me off. Also when this happens i will close the program and log back
in and sometimes it works and other times is wont. I am using Outlook 2007
(Vista)
