When trying to update SP4 for my Win2k machine, I received
the above error message. Can anyone tell me why I receive
this and what can be done about it?

are you using the Network or Express Install? What 2000 OS are you using?

I was using the Express Install and I'm running Windows
2000 Professional.

download the network install and apply it.
