Hi,
I have upgraded to WM 4.7.2009 and now cant log in. I
have tried resetting the time, I have reset my password
and logged in using it, I have disabled firewalls and
restarted, cleared internet files an cache cookies, my IE
security settings are fine and then run regsvr32
softpub.dll and run , and also tried to download and
install MSN6, RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %
windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove and services.msc to
remove windows messenger from my pc. All these things I
have done several times. I managed to connect using MSN6
once then never again even after 50-100 attempts. It is
almost like the upgraded (and removed) windows messenger
is blocking certain internet connections. I also have
Yahoo and ICQ which connect with no problems at all.
Without doing a restore to before I attempted an upgrade
do you have any suggestions????
