For some reason when I try to go to certain pages I get
the pop up that I am not connected and when I look under
file the work off line is checked and even after
unchecking it it still wants me to connect. What's wierd
is that it will even do this when I am trying to go to
sites that I have gone to before and had no problems.
Does anyone know why this keeps happening and how to fix
it? Thanks!

Internet Explorer and Outlook Express share the Work Offline setting. Set
it one program and it applies to the other as well. If Outlook Express is
configured to check for email *and* to disconnect afterwards, it could be
toggling the Work Offline setting.

You might also want to check the properties of your ISP connection. Change
the "disconnect if idle" setting to a greater number or to "never."
