Ok, follow me here. This computer at my house running WinXP
keeps losing its connection to the internet through I.E.
and Mozilla. Other programs still connect such as AIM and
Outlook but the browsers will not connect until the
computer is restarted. This is done about every three
hours. We are running it to a Linksys router and a Cable
Modem. All other machines in the house run fine. Just the
XP box is having these issues. any ideas? Firewalls are
not present. Even the XP built-in firewall is turned off.
Releasing the IP and renewing doesnt work either. has to
be restarted.
