connection problem after upgrade to IE6

I recently upgraded from IE4 to IE6 on my Windows98
computer. Now the dialup connections works only on the
first session. After that I get the error page unavailable
but the dialer does not attempt to dial the number. I've
checked the settings under Internet options, but I don't
know whats wrong. Everything looks okay.
Is this something with Win98?
