I just bought a linksys wireless G router, to try and network my desktop and
laptop. I have an external cable modem, and have everything hooked up
properly. However, I am having a bit of trouble staying connected. My
browser will work for approximately fifteen minutes, then it won't work at
all, (this page cannot be displayed), and after 10 or 15 more minutes, it
will work again....what in the world can be going on?? I just got my laptop,
and as a new "toy", I would like to play with it! Is there some setting
somewhere that I'm missing?

I had the same problem w/ my Dell laptop. When you notice the connection is
starts to drop off you can double click on the network connection icon in the
system tray, go to support, then click on repair and that should fix it for a
little while, but at least that way you don't have to wait 15 mins for it to
reconnect. But, how I ended up fixing the problem was by going to the linksys
website and downloading the most recent driver. Hope that helps.

Hey, thank you very much for responding, but I think it's all worked out now.
Not sure exactly what I did, but I had to run that network wizard thing on
both of them again, and it seemed to fix the problem. Haven't had a problem
connecting since then! Started to worry at school, but the campus is
wireless, and after identifying the source, I had no trouble connecting there
either. Thanks again!!
