About once a week or so, when I click the Local Area Network
icon to enable my connection to my DSL router, I get a
Connection Failed! nasty-gram. The only recourse is to
reboot and then everything works fine for another week or so.

obtw - when I click Shutdown, the pc hangs. Gotta power off
and on to reboot. Then the LAN works great.

ideas???
