Does anybody know if it's possible to do a Windows application that can read
and write to an Access databas located on a web server that only accepts DNS
connections.

Has anybody got a code example for that and/or tips?

What's wrong with the standard way, but using resolved DNS name (IP address)
as the name of the server machine?

MS Access is a file-based database, and requires physical access to the MDB
file.
Short answer, "no".
