Hi,
Having recently bought a 1TB USB disk it occured to me it would be cool to share it with the rest of my family. I understand you can get routers with USB ports to connect drives to for easier sharing, ie you dont have to turn on the main computer to access data on your laptop say. My router doesnt have usb, my HD isnt NAS ready, is there any gizmo I can get that would allow me to connect to the router - or is the only solution to stop being so cheap and buy a router with USB - if so which one would you recommend?

Thanks.

I think something like the NSLU2 will do what you are after, but it's about £60 so not exactly a cheap option just for an adapter:

You might be able to pick one up cheap on ebay though
